About The Bill:
- This bill changes voting laws to help visually disabled voters vote online.
- Visually disabled voter: someone whose disability prevents seeing or marking the ballot and prevents them from operating in-person voting equipment.
- Ballot: list of candidates you can vote for
- Rules for voting online
- The Secretary of State will create a safe website for visually disabled voters to vote online.
- Visually disabled people can use their own devices to vote.
- The ballot can be printed and sent by mail or emailed as an absentee ballot.
- Absentee ballot: a paper form that has people and/or issues that you vote for on Election Day. You use this to vote by mail in states with absentee voting. In states with in-person absentee voting, you vote on an absentee ballot in person before Election Day at a polling place or local election office.
